makes approximately 16 blondies

1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 sticks (16 ounces)
unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups Halloween chocolate candy, chopped
Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 13x9 baking dish with canola oil. Cut parchment paper to fit a square baking pan. Set aside.
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Place the brown sugar into a large mixing bowl, set aside. In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Once melted, pour the butter into the bowl with the sugar, whisking until the sugar dissolves. Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking constantly. Add the vanilla extra and stir to combine.
In small portions, add the flour mixture. Whisk to combine, until all flour is incorporated. Using a rubber spatula, fold in the Halloween candy.
Pour the batter into the baking pan, making sure the batter is evenly distributed.
Place into the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove and let sit in the pan for 20 minutes. Remove the blondies from the pan. Place onto cutting board and cut.
