Burrata with Balsamic

Author A Pleasant Little Kitchen | September 3, 2024

Author note: Burrata is an Italian cow’s milk cheese. The exterior is a solid cheese casing, similar to mozzarella, and the interior is filled with stracciatella: shreds of mozzarella soaked in cream. It is delicious to serve by itself, or, as in this recipe, with an aged and thickened balsamic vinegar. Other options to serve with burrata is basil leaves, seasonally fresh tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms, crusty bread, pasta and grilled meats. Be creative!
